Maris The Great
Marcy was recently interviewed by Denver's favorite zombie music commentator, Maris The Great.
For a look at some of Marcy's thoughts on her vocal training and musical background, whether she considers herself a Christian Artist, what she would name her punk band if she had one and her thoughts about the man she loves, click here.

A Little about Maris, from Marcy:

" Maris The Great is one of the most unique creatures, talents and supports in the music world I have run across. A Denver "zombie," his schtick is that he and his band will never be good enough to make it in Denver or across the country, with all the other great bands and songwriters already out there. So his solution is to "kill" the bands or performers that he thinks are really good, thereby removing them and upping his chances for his own success. I didn't know what to make of Maris when I first came across him. I have come to cherish what he does. I've also never seen him without his zombie make up on. Maris The Great's site is not for everyone. It contains graphic material that some may find objectionable. It is contextually relevant to Maris, however, and how he operates as a reviewer and interviewer and supporter of regional bands. What he does, he does very well. So here's Maris!"

FEMMUSIC.com
Marcy was interviewed by Alex Teitz, Editor-In-Chief of FEMMUSIC.com. Alex has devoted his FEMMUSIC website entirely to emerging women in music. Alex discovered Marcy's music back in 2001 and named her as one of his favorites in his TOP TEN LIST of independent singer / songwriters from ACROSS THE COUNTRY! Marcy spoke with Alex on a number of topics and delved deeply, as she is known to do. To read Marcy's interview in FEMMUSIC, click here.
